Managers are constantly making decisions, but few examine the process and assess the quality of their decisions. A common denominator of successful organizations is that they view decision-making as a critical leadership process, not an event. This program, through discussions, real-world examples, and exercises, will help you analyze and improve your own decision-making skills. What steps are involved in making a “great” decision? Do your decisions reflect what is only best in the short term and ignore the long-term outcomes? And finally, can you learn to be a better decision maker? In today’s business environment, the impact of a poorly made decision can be costly. On the other hand, great decisions can produce the results that move organizations forward. This program, modeled after the decision-making programs being taught at Harvard’s Business School and General Electric’s Management Development Institute, focuses on helping participants learn and apply a proven process for making effective decisions. You’ll also learn to identify common decision-making traps, maximize compliance, and optimize results.

Objective:To learn the basic elements and skills of a proven process for making effective decisions.

This class has a limit of 30 participants. However, we will be taking a waiting list for a class the following day, March 4th.

This programs is co-sponsored with NOLA.
